Events

LeRoy is a place with many dedicated volunteers who provide community-based events throughout the year through various non-profit organizations, churches and volunteers. If your organization has a yearly community-based event to promote, please contact Kelso Media to have it added to this event page.

Garage Sale Weekend

The first weekend in June is the LeRoy Area Garage Sale Weekend. A map of sale locations is typically available at many local businesses. However, do not limit yourself to just the map. A quick drive around the area and shoppers will discover many additional sales to check out.

October

Halloween in LeRoy

Halloween is celebrated in LeRoy each October on Halloween, October 31st. There is trick-or-treating throughout town at individual homes, as well as, a couple of additional free, family-friendly events. At the Fire Hall, the volunteer firemen give away snacks for the kids and an opportunity to check out the fire trucks. On “The Big Hill” many people set up  Trunk-or-Treat out of their vehicles for families to walk along.  At the LeRoy Covenant Church, there is an indoor Trunk-or-Treat event offering trick-or-treating and fellowship for the entire community.
